Learn about infusing sustainability into curriculum. We will go over teaching tools and resources for modifying courses from disciplines across the campus. This presentation is for professors of engineering, business and economics, biology, theater arts, computer science, english and more. Participants are encouraged to bring syllabi, reading lists, laptop computers, and digital cameras.

From Field to Fork: Sustainable Food Systems in Higher Education

The 3rd Annual From Field to Fork pre-conference will bring together food service managers, chefs, campus administrators, faculty, researchers, students, farmers, and professionals. We will explore cutting edge procurement, green business practices, and educational models geared toward increasing the sustainability of our campus operations, programs, and food system based learning. In focus sessions and together we will identify barriers and share challenges, establish innovative solutions and best practices, and create a vision of how campus food systems will be transformed over the next ten years. Join us for an incredible pre-conference event that will build your skills, expand your network, and bring concrete solutions and best practices to your campus and community. This afternoon pre-conference will be free and open to all stakeholders interested in engaging in the discussions exploring the future of our campus food systems.

Student Convergence

The student convergence will be highlighting new student campaigns, upcoming projects, and skill-sharing workshops. Students will also have a chance to network with other student leaders from California Community College, California State University, University of California, and Private campuses throughout the state collectively as well as amongst students from their own systems. The convergence is free and you can attend it without attending the main conference.
